Leidos seeks a skilled A&A Analyst to support the DHS Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Security Operations Center (SOC). Protect critical networks against cyber threats through expert evaluation of information systems using NIST RMF methodologies. This role demands precision in assessing systems before deployment and during updates, ensuring CBP's enterprise-wide security.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct formal assessments to determine Authorization to Operate (ATO)
- Evaluate security posture and control effectiveness per NIST standards
- Author System Security Plans (SSP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR)
- Provide guidance on security management, access controls, configuration management
- Recommend risk mitigation and system improvements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 4-8 years or Master’s +1 year in IT/Cyber Security
- 1-3 years ISSO experience on federal systems
- Expertise in NIST SP 800-37 Rev 2, DHS 4300A, CBP HB 1400-05D
- Superior writing, communication, critical analysis skills
- US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- CBP program experience
- DoD 8570 IAT III; CISSP, CGRC, CISA, CASP+
