Key Responsibilities
- Develop construction work packages for overhead (OH), underground (UG), and URD distribution systems from 4kV to 138kV, including grid hardening, substation optimization, joint use, and street lighting.
- Perform field inspections, engineering calculations (structural pole analysis, guying, cable pulling, voltage drop, protective device coordination), and office-based design using GIS, CAD, and WMS tools.
- Prepare permitting documents, BOMs, cost estimates, forestry requests, and support Right-of-Way acquisition under supervision.
- Provide construction support, post-construction reviews, and root cause outage analysis using NESC principles.
- Collaborate with substation, protection & controls, and civil structural disciplines (up to 25% travel required).
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Engineering with 0+ years experience or BS non-engineering with <5 years relevant experience.
- Preferred: NESC expertise, ESRI, AutoCAD/MicroStation, GIS.
- MS Office proficiency; strong communication skills; field/outdoor work capability; personal vehicle use.

- Ability to work outdoors and utilize personal vehicle (experience)
Responsibilities
