Leidos Homeland Sector seeks a skilled Automation Tester for a mission-critical program supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD). This role involves Agile development and operations for high-availability, scalable real-time systems screening travelers at U.S. ports of entry. This position requires onsite presence in Ashburn, VA, once a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining programs.
- Translate functional requirements into comprehensive test cases.
- Maintain test environments, installing software as needed.
- Develop and execute automated tests using tools like Selenium and SoapUI.
- Conduct regression testing across full operational scenarios.
- Develop test plans, data, and acceptance criteria; prepare detailed reports.
- Support configuration management, code verification, and customer demonstrations.
Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA + 12+ years, Masters + 10+ years, or 4+ years direct experience.
- US Citizen with CBP Background Investigation eligibility.
- Expertise in Java, databases, test automation, DevOps, Agile, and debugging.
- Must pass live technical coding exercise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree, active CBP BI, CBP experience.
- JUnit, AWS, CI/CD, SecDevOps, Splunk/SPL dashboard setup.
