Our Huntsville team seeks a Senior Aviation Embedded Engineer to develop software for tactical strike, sensors, CUAS, and UAS systems. Leverage your expertise in robust software frameworks, from analysis tools to mission-critical applications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive conceptual design across full-stack airborne software: architecture, implementation, peer review, unit testing, integration via DevOps/CI/CD.
- Lead design, development, testing, and debugging of enhancements and new systems.
- Engage directly with customers, users, stakeholders, and teams.
- Execute full SDLC: requirements/hardware analysis, tool development for infrastructure.
- Innovate with new technologies; mentor teams to align with strategic goals.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in relevant engineering field (GPA 3.0+); 10-15 years experience.
- Expertise in full lifecycle development; C++ proficiency; Agile/DevOps mastery.
- Leadership in complex projects; strong debugging, analytical, communication skills.
- Git proficiency; Huntsville residency or relocation willingness; Secret clearance eligible.
Preferred Qualifications
- Large-scale distributed/embedded systems experience; containerization familiarity.
