Join Leidos on a Mission-Critical USAF Cloud One Contract
Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract, seeking expert AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to modernize a global-scale multi-cloud environment. Enhance USAF system resiliency, security, and cost-effectiveness in this hybrid remote role (6314 Remote/Teleworker US), with onsite needs near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) or Huntsville, AL.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute cloud operations and engineering for scalable, resilient AWS solutions.
- Drive DevSecOps with IaC (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD (Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory), and Kubernetes.
- Architect secure networks using zero-trust, defense-in-depth, and STIG compliance.
- Implement IAM, security monitoring, and maintain SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS standards.
- Support migrations, containerization, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and Shared Services.
- Troubleshoot systems, document processes, and collaborate cross-functionally.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s +4 years or Master’s +2 years (experience may substitute).
- Interim Secret clearance (ability to obtain Secret); US citizenship.
- CompTIA Security+ (IAT-2); strong communication and teamwork.
- Proven cloud ops/sustainment experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- USAF Cloud One/Platform 1 experience; Zero Trust knowledge.
- Active Directory, AWS AD, SAML; tools like Ansible, Elastic, Git, Bitbucket.
- Admin experience with Windows Server, MS O365, SharePoint.

- Maintain compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and STIG requirements
- Containerize applications and optimize performance/reliability
- Configure/troubleshoot cloud, virtual, physical systems and databases
- Support migrations, Shared Services development, and cross-functional teams
- Prepare technical documentation and utilize CI/CD workflows
