Leidos' Mission Solutions Business Area (MSBA) in the Intelligence Sector seeks a dynamic Business Development Director to spearhead cyber-focused growth. Thrive in a high-stakes environment driving solutions-based expansion through advanced cyber insights.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver mission-focused narratives on Leidos' expertise in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development.
  • Build and expand opportunity pipelines across core and adjacent markets.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape growth strategies and pursue strategic opportunities.
  • Lead bid decisions, gate reviews, capture planning, and proposal development.
  • Bridge Growth and CTO teams for mission-aligned innovation.
  • Proactively submit white papers, RFIs, and demos to influence requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/15+ years or Master's/13+ years experience; 5+ years in IC cyber capabilities.
  • IC leadership in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, or exploitation.
  • TS/SCI with polygraph.
  • Proven customer relationships, competitive analysis, and acquisition knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • $2.5B+ pipeline management success.
  • Deep IC customer experience.

  • Proven success deploying technical solutions to complex intelligence problems (experience)
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required (experience)
  • Strong customer relationships with senior IC officials (experience)
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape and customer buying behaviors (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer engagement and strategy for cyber-focused growth in Intelligence Sector
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, growing pipeline including adjacent markets
  • Shape customer requirements into actionable Leidos solutions with compelling value propositions
  • Lead capture activities: gate reviews, black-hat sessions, proposals, and business cases
  • Partner with leadership, CTO, and tech teams to align strategies and develop roadmaps
  • Conduct after-action reviews and refine pursuit strategies based on lessons learned
