Key Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery and technical assurance within quality, cost, and schedule.
- Drive customer acceptance of solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- Maintain engineering processes aligned with standards and governance.
- Define skills, resources, and practices needed.
- Manage engineering effectiveness end-to-end.
Required Skills & Experience
Demonstrate technical leadership in complex IT systems integration, subcontractor management, systems engineering, team management, and prior Chief Engineer role on £50M+ programmes. Excel in communication, articulating concepts, and commercial discussions with customers/suppliers.
Desired Skills
- Public sector/sensitive projects experience.
- Software engineering or IT integration background.
- Knowledge of Defence/Government processes.
Qualifications
Bachelors in IT/Software (or equivalent), proven leadership experience, Chartered Engineer desirable. UK SC clearance required.
