Chief Engineer - Lead Innovation in Undersea Systems at Leidos

Leidos Undersea Systems Division seeks a Chief Engineer/Solution Architect to spearhead engineering for underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, subsea telemetry, and ISR solutions. Drive prototype design to initial production for critical defense missions in C4ISR technologies, sensor networks, unmanned systems, and tactical platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Engineering, CS, Physics, or Math.
  • 10+ years in subsea/electro-mechanical systems.

  • Manufacturing process expertise.
  • DoD program exposure.
  • U.S. Citizen, TOP SECRET eligible.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years leading complex subsea systems, UUVs, acoustics.
  • Proven production transitions.
  • ISO 9001:2015 familiarity.
  • DoD contract/financial management.

  • 5+ years leading integrated teams (experience)
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and procedure development (experience)
  • Exposure to DoD technical program execution (experience)
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance (experience)
