Join our Civil/Transmission Line Engineering Intern program in Orlando, FL for Summer 2025 as a current Civil Engineering student. Collaborate with senior engineers on real-world utility grid challenges, gaining expertise in steel and concrete structure analysis, foundation design, substation civil/structural engineering, PLS-CADD transmission line design, and construction documentation.

  • Develop skills in transmission/substation civil projects
  • Prepare deliverables: drawings, reports, correspondence

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering program at accredited university (experience)
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher (experience)
  • Interest in transmission and substation civil engineering projects (experience)
  • Ability to work in field and office settings (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of project deliverables including engineered drawings, technical reports, and documentation
  • Support development of processes and procedures to improve project execution efficiency
  • Collaborate in team environment on high voltage transmission line projects
  • Partner with senior engineers and interns to solve utility grid challenges
  • Gain hands-on experience in steel/concrete structure analysis, foundation design, and construction documents
