Join as Civil/Transmission Line Engineering Intern

Seeking current Civil Engineering students for a Summer 2025 internship in Walled Lake, MI. Collaborate with senior engineers and interns on real-world utility grid challenges. Gain expertise in steel/concrete structure analysis, foundation design, substation civil/structural work, PLS-CADD transmission line design, construction documents, and material analysis—building skills in power delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of project deliverables including engineered drawings, technical reports, and documentation
  • Support development of processes and procedures to improve project execution efficiency
  • Collaborate in team environment on high voltage transmission line projects
  • Partner with senior engineers and interns to solve real-world utility grid challenges
  • Gain hands-on experience in power delivery field tasks like material analysis and construction document development
