Leidos Dynetics is seeking an early-career System Administrator for our Corporate Information Security Office within the Digital Modernization sector. This onsite role in Huntsville, AL, focuses on designing, maintaining, and enhancing classified environment architecture while ensuring compliance with information assurance standards and operational continuity.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and network devices (Linux experience a plus).
- Contribute to system design, hardware/software implementation, and infrastructure support.
- Document system configurations, baselines, and procedures.
- Manage backup/recovery, file systems, and disk space.
- Leverage virtualization technologies including Hyper-V, VMWare vSphere, and ESXi.
- Handle daily ticket prioritization, on-site support, and troubleshooting.
- Lead or support multiple projects in a team environment.
- Administer user accounts and access controls in domain/standalone setups.
- Ensure proper marking, handling, and storage of classified materials.
- Troubleshoot and repair Windows OS issues on servers and workstations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years System Administrator experience.
- Active Secret clearance (eligible for Top Secret).
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
- RMF familiarity for Windows/Linux systems.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and customer focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in classified Collateral/SAP/SCI environments.
- Network concepts, TACLANE encryption, cybersecurity tools.
- Secure configuration of switches/firewalls.
