Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Join Leidos in Chantilly, VA, to pioneer cloud-native architectures for critical entitlement programs, IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, and digital policy management. Design, develop, and deploy AWS-based services that empower software teams with scalable cloud capabilities. Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding implementation priorities and fostering innovation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native services leveraging AWS for enterprise software solutions.
• Deliver technical guidance to cross-functional teams in Agile, SAFe, and Scrum environments.
• Manage servers, perform security patching, and maintain infrastructure in AWS.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation, AWS CLI, and automation tools.
• Support DevOps CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, and SonarQube.
• Drive security accreditation processes and compliance for mission-critical systems.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• BS degree + 12+ years relevant experience (or equivalent).
• Proven expertise in IdAM/ICAM, entitlements, authentication, and AWS cloud technologies.
• Strong communication skills and experience with software development, engineering, security, and QA teams.

Desired Qualifications

• AWS Associate-level certification (Architect, Developer, or SysOps).
• 3+ years C2S experience, CloudFormation, serverless architectures.
• Big data solutions (Elasticsearch), workload migration, and complex stakeholder management.
