Cloud Security Analyst – Fort Meade, MD
Join Leidos in supporting DISA GSM-O II Task Number 07 (TN07) for Joint Force Headquarters DODIN. Provide network operations and cyber defense to DISA, DoD, and COCOMs in a high-intensity operations center. Leverage in-depth technical knowledge, management, and analytic skills to meet senior command requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze cloud architectures, technologies, policies, and data for cybersecurity insights.
- Develop risk assessment methodologies to prevent, detect, and mitigate cloud anomalies, vulnerabilities, and inefficiencies.
- Conduct cyber situational awareness and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver briefings tailored for senior leadership.
- Perform micro and macro analysis of enterprise cybersecurity strategies to enhance operational effectiveness and command/control.
- Evaluate policies, PMO systems, hardware/software, cloud, and network infrastructure to recommend risk reduction strategies.
- Collaborate with third-party security services (e.g., IPS/IDS, antivirus) per DoD policies and best practices.
- Continuously enhance cloud monitoring and automation.
- Ensure real-time forwarding of system, application, and event logs to security and insider threat teams.
Basic Qualifications
- BS + 8-12 years or MS + 6-10 years experience.
- Active DoD TS/SCI (CI Poly eligible).
- IAT Level II certification.
- Expertise in endpoint/network security, protocols, vulnerabilities, TTPs.
- Strong communication to translate technical concepts.
- Proficiency in data onboarding, security domains, best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ASV, Expander, SIEM, Cloud Native Tools.
- Cloud cert (CCSP, AWS CSAA, etc.).
- DISA/mission partner experience.
- TS/SCI w/CI Poly.
- Cloud-hosted networks proficiency.
- Master’s in IT/Cybersecurity.
