Configuration Manager - Leidos Maritime Systems Division

Leidos is seeking a skilled Configuration Manager to support cutting-edge engineering efforts within the Maritime System Solutions (MSS) Portfolio of our Maritime Systems Division (MSD). Join our world-class team delivering innovative C4ISR technologies for U.S. Navy customers, focusing on Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) design, build, and test.

Your Responsibilities

Work with our configuration management team to design and implement strategies across the division. Support Technical Data Package (TDP) development, manage changes for deliverables using tools like Solidworks PDM Pro, SharePoint, JIRA, and Vector. Create/review Change Requests (CRs), Change Notices (CNs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Proposals (ECPs). Facilitate review board meetings, participate in QA audits, and provide designer/drafter support.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in engineering technology + 4-8 years experience.
  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication.
  • CM experience with Solidworks PDM Pro; ASME drawing/GD&T proficiency; Solidworks mechanical design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • DoD/ANSI standards knowledge.
  • Electrical design drawings; Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence); IPT on DoD programs.

Pay Range: $87,100 - $157,450 USD. Leidos outthinks, outbuilds, and outpaces the status quo for mission-critical maritime solutions.

  • Design, implement, and oversee configuration management strategies
  • Support TDP development and management for customers
  • Manage changes for technical drawings, documentation, software/firmware using Solidworks PDM Pro, SharePoint, JIRA
  • Create/review Change Requests, Notices, Engineering Change Orders/Proposals
  • Facilitate Engineering Review Board and Configuration Control Board meetings
  • Participate in QA audits for CM processes
  • Provide engineering designer/drafter support as needed
