Exciting Configuration Manager Role

Join Leidos in San Antonio, TX, near Lackland Air Force Base, supporting the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems mission. This onsite role leverages your expertise in complex systems for defense cyber operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a robust configuration management framework for software/hardware lifecycles.
• Use Confluence and Jira for documentation, workflows, dashboards, and config activities.
• Manage centralized repositories for configuration items like hardware, software, and docs.
• Coordinate change management, tracking requests and implementations in Jira.
• Implement version control systems for code, docs, and artifacts.
• Plan releases, manage schedules, and track deployments with dev teams.
• Perform audits to ensure config accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date docs including specs, guides, and release notes.
• Support incident/problem resolution with config data and root cause analysis.
• Train IT staff on CM best practices using Confluence/Jira.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/IT (4+ years exp) or Master's (2+ years); experience substitutes for degree.
• 3+ years in config management.
• Expertise in Confluence/Jira for CM tasks.
• Strong ITIL in config/change/release mgmt.
• Analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Communication for cross-functional teams.
• DoD TS/SCI eligibility, US Citizen, CompTIA Sec+.

Preferred Qualifications

• Air Force Cyber or USCYBERCOM experience.
• Defensive cyber operations background.
• AFLCMC/HNCD support experience.
