Join Leidos as a Contractor Logistics Support/Field Service Representative

Leidos Defense Sector seeks a skilled Field Service Representative (FSR) for the Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC Inc 2) missile defense system at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Tacoma, WA. Embed with a multidisciplinary Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) team to deliver on-site operation and maintenance for launcher/interceptor solutions. Perform Field-Level tasks and Sustainment-Below-Depot Level duties under minimal supervision, cross-training across system elements. This mission-essential role includes worldwide deployments, military exercises, overtime, and nonstandard shifts in potentially hazardous zones.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage maintenance programs: scheduling services, HW configuration, HW/SW troubleshooting/installation.
  • Lead root cause analysis for complex failures in software, hardware, cabling, electrical systems, and networks.
  • Provide expert recommendations to customers and peers.
  • Maintain accurate Work Orders and reports.
  • Interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and handle electrostatic devices.
  • Support training for service members.
  • Build trust through open communication and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications

  • SECRET clearance required.
  • Software networking, configuration, and update proficiency.
  • Meet DoD deployment standards (DoDI 3020.41); lift 35 lbs; valid driver's license and passport.
  • Microsoft Windows/OS and Office Suite expertise.
  • Pass deployment medical/dental/psychological screenings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Quick mastery of new technical/training applications.
  • US Army Air/Missile Defense, Supply/Logistics experience.
  • Physical Security, COMSEC/CCI knowledge; CDL preferred.

  • Support end-user in IFPC Inc 2 launcher/interceptor operation and maintenance
  • Manage maintenance scheduling, HW/SW troubleshooting, configuration, and installation
  • Conduct root cause analysis for software, hardware, cabling, electrical, and network failures
  • Create/update Work Orders and verify maintenance reports
  • Collaborate on training programs for service members
  • Recommend actions based on experiential knowledge
  • Deploy worldwide for military exercises in hazardous zones as mission essential
