Shape the Future of National Security: Contracts Director - Cyber & Analytics
Leidos seeks a visionary Contracts Director to lead our Cyber & Analytics Business Area within the Intel Sector. Drive innovation at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and mission-critical national security impacts.
Why This Role Matters
Report to the Sector Vice President of Contracts & Supply Chain as the primary strategic advisor to Business Area leadership. Manage talent, budget, relationships, risks, and partnerships at the highest levels with government officials, executives, and cross-functional teams.
Your Mission & Unique Opportunities
- Interface directly with Intelligence Community leaders and Leidos executives
- Leverage AI and emerging technologies to revolutionize contract processes
- Collaborate across Business Development, Program Execution, Legal, Finance, and HR
- Lead and develop a high-performing contracts team
- Support programs advancing national security and intelligence operations
Key Leadership Responsibilities
- Strategic relationship management with Intelligence Community partners
- Team recruitment, career development, and performance management
- Innovation in process excellence and regulatory compliance (FAR, DFAR)
- Cross-functional resolution of complex contractual challenges
- Accountability for proposal win-rates, cost savings, compliance, and risk metrics
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's with 12+ years or Master's with 10+ years relevant experience
- Expertise in government contracts, subcontracts, proposals; all contract types; FAR/DFAR; OTAs, CRADAs, commercial agreements
- 4+ years leadership with talent development
- Proven adaptability in fast-paced environments, risk management
- Cross-functional collaboration success
- Expert negotiation of complex terms
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
- Intelligence Community acquisitions expertise
- Formal contracting certifications
- Large capture team leadership
- AI implementation in contracts
- Comprehensive contracts/subcontracts knowledge
