Cyber Research Intern

Leidos is seeking a motivated Cyber Research Intern to join our innovative team in Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA, with flexible remote or onsite options. Primary Responsibilities

  • Under project lead direction, analyze internal projects and artifacts to create innovative cyber solutions.
  • Assist senior researchers in analyzing and interpreting experimental results for key decision-makers.
  • Deliver clear communication of plans and results through written reports and compelling presentations.
  • Develop, defend, execute, and present comprehensive research plans.
  • Adapt cyber technologies for novel applications, build prototypes, and contribute to research papers.
  • Support ongoing cyber programs while demonstrating intellectual adaptability and problem-solving prowess.

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, C/C++, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
  • Relevant coursework in cyber and cybersecurity topics.
  • Eligibility for DoD security clearance.
  • US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with cyber technologies.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and experience in cybersecurity research.
