Join Leidos in Huntingdon, UK, as a Cyber Security Engineer, delivering innovative solutions for classified and unclassified networks. Require DV clearance and on-site presence 4/5 days weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative solutions to complex technical cybersecurity challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain security posture against baselines.
- Ensure logs forward to SIEM with Security Monitoring team.
- Work with customers and agencies on policies, processes, and technical designs.
- Assess vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, validate systems, and test security products.
- Maintain security enforcing functions.
Core Skills
- MOD/Home Office experience.
- Network/system security: firewalls, IDS/IPS, micro-segmentation; hands-on with Trellix, Ivanti, ClearSwift, Yubikey.
- Secure coding (OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25).
- IAM expertise (RBAC, ABAC, JWT, cookies).
- MOD incident detection/response.
- Compliance: NIST, CIS Benchmarks.
- Kubernetes administration.
Desirable Skills
Containerisation Security: Kubernetes RBAC/network policies, container runtime security, image scanning, Tanzu deployments, runtime monitoring.
DevSecOps & CI/CD: Secure pipelines with Git/SonarQube, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), secrets management (Vault), automation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
