Join Leidos' Elite Cyber Security Watch Officer Team at the Pentagon
Leidos' Digital Modernization sector seeks a skilled Cyber Security Watch Officer (CSWO) for Swing Shift (evenings) on the GSM-O program. Support 24/7 cyber defense for critical DoD networks at the heart of the Pentagon. This high-impact role demands flexibility for shift work, including weekends, with initial ramp-up on day shift.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with JNOSC Battle Captain and Cyber Center Security Chief on all cyber defense and network assurance challenges.
- Lead oversight of network defense operations, mastering process flows and execution.
- Track directives, orders, alerts; deliver crisp daily situational awareness briefings.
- Act as Defensive Cybersecurity SME during continuous 24x7 operations.
- Drive PHISH support: triage events, incident handling, threat detection, trend analysis, metrics, and CSSP methodology.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred) and DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+ CE or higher).
- Bachelor's + 3+ years experience; military/relevant work substitutes for degree.
- Proven CND in Protect/Detect/Respond/Sustain within incident response teams.
- Deep knowledge of threat lifecycles, attack vectors, Cyber Kill Chain.
- Thrives in 24x7 high-stakes environments.
