Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Cybersecurity Software Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team solving complex missile defense challenges. With expertise across defense, space, cyber, and commercial domains, we deliver responsive, cost-effective engineering and IT solutions from offices nationwide.

Primary Responsibilities

• Run and automate static code analysis tools (e.g., CPPCheck, Checkmarx, Fortify) to enforce cyber standards for IFPC Inc 2 software teams.
• Analyze tool-generated data for applicability, reliability, and actionable insights.
• Create backlog items integrated into SAFe Agile processes for remediation.
• Develop and update critical documentation including CDRLs and Tech Bulletins.
• Work in a Linux environment using C++ and Python within an Agile framework.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related discipline (ABET-accredited) with 4+ years experience, or MS with 2+ years.
• Proven data analysis, software development, and cybersecurity experience.
• Agile environment proficiency with tools like Jira and GitLab.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with code scanning tools (Checkmarx, Fortify, CPPCheck).
• Cybersecurity certifications.
• SAFe Agile expertise and Linux proficiency.
• Local to North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville.
