Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs) to establish data center processes, standards, and policies aligned with industry best practices and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Monitor compliance, track resource consumption (power, cooling, rack space), and maintain detailed diagrams including topology, racks, and cabling.
  • Coordinate access control, logistics, equipment receiving/shipping, RMA processing, sanitization via DLA Disposition Services, and vendor/security escorts.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform maintenance (cable/memory replacement), organize/tagged cabling, and log activities in ticketing systems.
  • Conduct daily inspections, error log reporting, status updates on availability/performance/capacity, and communicate maintenance windows.
  • Support 24/7 emergency response, Agile planning, and general cleaning to ensure mission-essential services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years relevant experience; additional experience substitutes for degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required (US Citizenship).
  • 3+ years in mission-critical facilities with analytical troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment

Primary: Fort Belvoir, VA; Temporary Secondary: Reston, VA. Utilizes Agile frameworks for initiatives in a high-stakes defense setting. Strong knowledge of servers, networks, DCIM tools, Windows/Linux essential.
