Deep Sea Engineer Opportunity at Leidos

Join Leidos' Maritime Systems Division (MSD) as a Deep Sea Engineer in Suitland, MD, supporting US Navy Intelligence with expert analysis on undersea systems. This role involves cutting-edge work on manned/unmanned vehicles, seafloor imaging (acoustic/optical), and undersea navigation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform all-source intelligence analysis on maritime technology capabilities, readiness, and operations.
  • Research domestic/international undersea systems and attend 3+ conferences yearly, producing detailed trip reports.
  • Document findings in technical reports, memoranda, and briefings for senior leaders.
  • Engage partners on technology developments and operational methodologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years as ROV technician.
  • Active TS clearance.
  • Proven ability to brief executives independently.
  • Strong communication skills and foreign maritime analysis background.
