Defensive Cyber Solution Architect
Join Leidos's Office of Technology in our Digital Modernization Sector as a Senior Cyber Security Solution Architect specializing in Defensive Cyber Operations, AI, and Data Management. Architect cutting-edge solutions for federal civilian agencies and DoD customers worldwide. Collaborate with business development, IRAD, and SMEs to drive new pursuits, from pre-proposal capture to winning proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead as technical architect in integrated growth teams for proposals, captures, and BD activities.
- Mentor staff and deliver thought leadership on technical solutions, staffing, schedules, and BOEs.
- Author technical artifacts, white papers, SOWs, briefings, and RFI/RFP responses using Leidos/partner capabilities.
- Engage customers via meetings, demos, and presentations; integrate partner solutions and pricing strategies.
- Design/deploy AI/ML models for cybersecurity and scalable data frameworks for large datasets.
- Stay current on cyber policies/standards; support IRAD and proposal startups with up to 25% travel.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s + 15-20 years experience (or equivalent); 7+ years leading teams/proposals >$1B.
- Expertise in IT engineering/architecture, cyber ops (offensive/defensive), data analytics/pipelines.
- 8570 IASAE II (CASP+, CISSP/CSSLP); DoD Secret eligible; SOC/NOSC operational experience.
- Strong executive communication; SME status in field with AI/ML/security tools proficiency.
Desired Qualifications
Proven Operations Manager experience leading federal/commercial SecOps teams; deep expertise in evolving cyber domains.
