Key Responsibilities
- Balance technical risk with cost and schedule for flawless execution.
- Oversee mechanical systems for Technical Data Package (TDP) compliance.
- Act as technical authority, approving milestones at major reviews.
- Lead design, analysis, verification, and operations processes.
- Mentor engineers, plan resources, and represent Leidos with stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited) + 12 years experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Expertise in TDP, GD&T, Creo, missile structures, environmental testing, ASME standards.
- Proven hardware team leadership, business development support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project/people management, proposal writing, systems engineering.
- Test planning, CONOPs for hardware integration.
- Missile structural design/test experience.

- Plan mechanical engineering resources and develop staff
