Your Impact on Mission-Critical Support

As a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician at Patuxent River, MD government site, provide direct desk-side support, troubleshooting, and repairing IT devices. Manage ticket resolution per SLRs, handle hardware/software issues, printers, and MFPs, while assisting on complex problems. Excel in a fast-paced Field Services team environment.

Physical and Environmental Demands

Role requires lifting 50 lbs up to 100 feet, 25 lbs on ladders, work in confined spaces/noisy data centers, use of hand tools for rack mounting, normal color vision, 20/20 correctable vision, depth perception, and driving to sites with valid license.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen with DoD Secret Clearance
  • HS Diploma + 4+ years experience (or equivalent education/certifications)
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ or higher)
  • Windows 10, Service Desk tools (HP Service Manager/Remedy), basic networking
  • Superior customer service and communication skills
