DevOps Engineer - Leidos Intel Security Sector

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer in our Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area. Our team leads in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods, SIGINT, and Cryptographic Key Management. Job Summary

Provide mission-critical system support in an Agile SAFe environment. Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to maintain, develop, and support IC enterprise products. Automate operations, build deployment/monitoring tools, and resolve issues across dev, test, and production.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and production system availability.
  • Manages all DevOps environment components including building, configuring, administering, and maintaining.
  • Defines enterprise CI/CD processes and best practices.
  • Codifies DevOps best practices organization-wide.
  • Develops scripts for AWS cloud automation and other tasks.
  • Maintains build environments through scripting.
  • Integrates project products into DevOps pipelines.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience setting up GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, or Katalon Studio.
  • Troubleshooting experience with two or more of those tools.
  • Software development team support experience.
  • Bachelor's +4 years or Master's +2 years relevant experience (or equivalent).
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Associate (Developer, Solution Architect, Sys Ops) or Professional (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) certifications.
  • Container orchestration: Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/ECR.
  • Programming: Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, Unix shell scripting.
  • Configuration management: Ansible or Puppet.

  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate AWS cloud deployments and tasks
  • Script and maintain build environments
  • Integrate project team products into the DevOps environment
