Join Leidos as a DevOps Engineer on the GEOAxIS Program

Leidos seeks an Associate Technical Lead DevOps Engineer for our GEOAxIS program in Chantilly, VA. Drive technical execution, innovation, and modernization within a leadership team supporting Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) for NGA GEOINT web applications. GEOAxIS delivers highly available services enabling secure, on-demand access across all security domains. Awarded in 2021, the GxNext contract extends through 2031—offering long-term stability on a critical mission.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Docker images for existing Java and Python microservices.
  • Develop and maintain Helm charts to deploy custom microservice images.
  • Configure and extend upstream Helm charts and Docker images for COTS products.
  • Maximize automation of repeatable infrastructure and software tasks.
  • Partner with software development and operations teams to enhance reliability and deployment velocity across security domains.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in STEM + 4 years experience; Associate's + 6 years; or 8 years experience.
  • 1+ year Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • 1+ year Ansible.
  • 1+ year scripting/programming (Bash, Python, Java).
  • Ability to achieve Security+ within 60 days.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Configuration management in multi-operational environments.
  • GitOps (ArgoCD, FluxCD).
  • Git version management.
  • GitLab or Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • X509 certs, SAML, OAuth, OIDC.

Pay Range: $87,100 - $157,450 USD (actual based on experience, skills, and other factors). Leidos outthinks, outbuilds, and outpaces the status quo. We're recruiting disruptors for mission-critical impact.
