Core Responsibilities
- Own and advance a Kubernetes-native platform for workload orchestration and deployment.
- Develop and maintain containerized microservices using modern cloud-native practices.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible and IaC tools like Terraform or cloud-init.
- Build components in Go, TypeScript, and Python for seamless integration.
- Enhance observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and event-driven architectures like Kafka.
- Collaborate across teams to drive operational excellence and system reliability.
- Enforce development standards and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Basic Qualifications
Multiple levels available, matched to your experience:
- Level 0: Bachelor's + 2-7 years
- Level 1: Bachelor's + 7-14 years
- Level 2: Bachelor's + 14-20 years
- Level 3: Bachelor's + 20+ years (4 years experience may substitute for degree)
Requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph, Kubernetes expertise, Ansible proficiency, programming in Go/TypeScript/Python, CI/CD, and strong problem-solving.
Preferred Skills
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Bamboo), Agile workflows
- Kafka, NiFi, MetalLB, MinIO in production
- Linux/UNIX admin, SIGINT dataflows
