Leidos seeks a TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Software Engineer for our DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract, delivering an enterprise Automated Facial Extraction and Matching (AFEM) capability. Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Architects, and Operations on cutting-edge biometric systems in a DevSecOps environment. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure biometric system availability via integration, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Develop complex software for big data analytics, real-time systems, and ETL pipelines using Kafka, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes microservices.
- Build and deploy Docker containers; leverage CUDA/PyTorch for GPU processing.
- Participate in Agile PI planning, deployments, test monitoring, and documentation.
- Provide technical direction, manage priorities, and drive team collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s +8 years or Master’s +6 years experience; TS/SCI + Poly eligible.
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Gitlab/Jenkins), Python, C#, APIs, ETL, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL.
- Linux proficiency, Bash scripting, microservices, security, logging analysis.
- Agile experience and strong communication.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics and big data pipelines (Kafka, Elasticsearch, Python/Java microservices on Kubernetes)
- Oversee integration, maintenance, and monitoring of software for constant availability in DevSecOps environment
- Design, implement, and integrate Docker containers for Kubernetes deployment
- Provide input on system design including hardware/software trade-offs, COTS/GOTS reuse, and requirements analysis
- Participate in test, staging, production deployments; monitor automated integration tests
- Assist in big data pipeline maintenance; manage project priorities, deliverables, documentation, and PI estimates
- Foster collaboration to deliver quality biometric AFEM capabilities
