Lead DevOps/SRE Innovation for USAF Cloud One at Leidos
Leidos seeks a dynamic DevOps/SRE Manager for the U.S. Air Force Cloud One program, modernizing global-scale multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle. Drive resiliency, security, and cost-effectiveness in a hybrid remote role near Hanscom AFB (Bedford, MA) or Huntsville, AL. Lead 5-15 engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions for critical missions.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams using best practices for scalable, reliable systems.
- Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps for multi-cloud deployments.
- Design highly available systems with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Monitor SLIs/SLOs/SLAs using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.
- Drive incident response, postmortems, capacity planning, and security integration.
- Optimize Kubernetes/Docker, virtualized environments, and automated security scanning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, mentor teams, and present to leadership.
Technical Leadership & Impact
Partner with cloud engineers, cybersecurity experts, and executives to embed reliability into SDLC. Ensure compliance, high availability, and proactive monitoring for production excellence. Prepare documentation and enable rapid releases incorporating feedback.
