Lead Leidos' Proposal Operations as Director, Proposal Management and Compliance
Join Leidos' elite Proposal Operations Team, powering over $60B in annual submissions. This centralized hub supports the company's most strategic, high-value bids. Reporting to the VP of Proposal Operations, you'll drive a team of 20+ Proposal Managers and Compliance Leads in the DC-metro area and beyond, collaborating with counterparts for peak performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a dispersed team, fostering high-performance culture.
- Track Leidos' enterprise pipeline to prioritize resources and workloads.
- Deliver executive updates on budgets, projections, and operational challenges.
- Drive goal-setting, performance reviews, and career development.
- Review proposals to boost pWin and quality, providing critical feedback.
- Optimize scheduling for maximum utilization across captures.
- Grow next-gen talent through hands-on leadership and training.
- Serve as escalation point for risks, enforcing deadlines.
- Liaise with line leaders, capture teams, subs, and stakeholders.
- Handle trainings, color reviews, with occasional evenings/weekends and on-site Reston presence.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s +15 years or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years in proposal/capture: FEDSIM, OTAs, IDIQs, GWACs, quick-turn (<30 days), orals.
- 3+ years leading large teams in complex environments.
- Expertise in proposal strategies aligned to business goals.
- Proven conflict management, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Managed $500M-$1B+ single awards, Leidos Win Plan knowledge.
- TS Clearance.
- Tools: GenAI, SharePoint, VisibleThread, PleaseReview.
