Key Responsibilities

  • Independently develop moderately complex design/construction packages for 4kV-138kV systems.
  • Perform structural analysis, guying calculations, conductor sags/tensions, voltage drop/flicker.
  • Coordinate with agencies, stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.
  • Review engineering work, develop permits, and support construction/post-construction reviews.
  • Conduct outage root cause analysis and ensure compliance with safety/quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years relevant experience; BS in Engineering (ABET) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in NESC, AutoCAD/MicroStation, Bluebeam/Adobe, MS Office.
  • Experience with GIS/ESRI and tools like BOUD, Pole Foreman, Spida-Calc, O-Calc a plus.
  • Strong communication; field/office work; 15-25% travel; outdoor capability; personal vehicle.
