Distribution Engineer - Join Leidos in Pune, India

At Leidos, we empower engineers to deliver exceptional electric utility solutions. We're seeking passionate Distribution Engineers in Pune, India, to design high-quality projects for our Power Delivery Services Team, ranked among ENR's Top 10 T&D and Power Firms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform design engineering using tools like Pole Foreman, O-Calc, SOCKET, Spida-Calc, AUD, and DDS for OH, UG, URD, Make Ready, and Street Light projects.
  • Develop work packages in customer GIS/WMS systems including GE Smallworld, Bentley Expert Designer, and Maximo.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while reviewing designs with clients.
  • Conduct scope analysis, field data collection, and coordinate utilities in dense urban environments.
  • Drive workflow improvements for efficiency and quality in deliverables like work permits, easements, and ROW applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) with 2+ years in electric distribution design.
  • Proficiency in NESC/GO95, structural analysis, power calculations, AutoCAD/AUD.
  • Strong communication skills and utility/consulting experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Cost estimation, BOM development, MicroStation, work management software.
