Work directly with clients to uphold Leidos' reputation for excellence while gaining expertise in NESC, structural pole modeling, power calculations, GIS design, field data collection, and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently develop design and construction packages for overhead/underground distribution systems.
- Perform calculations: wood pole loading, guying, conductor sags/tensions, voltage drop/flicker.
- Review client scopes and provide construction support with post-reviews.
- Analyze outage root causes and design mitigations.
- Coordinate utilities, complex urban projects, permits, easements, and ROWs.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years relevant experience.
- B.S. in Engineering (ABET-accredited) or equivalent.
- Distribution project execution experience with customer interaction.
- NESC proficiency; valid driver's license; field/office flexibility.
Preferred Experience
- QA/QC, cost estimation, BOM/CIAC calculations.
- Tools: Pole Foreman, O-Calc, Spida-Calc, CREWS.
- Management/leadership; FirstEnergy experience.

Required Qualifications

- Valid U.S. driver's license with willingness for local/regional travel (experience)
- Ability to perform field and office work in outdoor environments (experience)
