Lead Technical Network Architect – Defense Sector (Reston, VA)
The Defense Sector at Leidos seeks an accomplished Lead Technical Network Architect for our team in Reston, VA. Join a $900M complex program supporting diverse DoD customers, applying deep expertise in strategic leadership and technical innovation.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as primary technical SME and advisor to NSIN Government leadership
- Guide service delivery, capability integration, and technical development program-wide
- Lead network architecture design with Zero Trust, CMMC, and DEVSECOPS focus
- Drive risk mitigation strategies and Agile/Platform One methodologies
- Support DoD/IC environments with occasional international travel
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/IT field
- 10+ years experience, including recent (last 5 years) DoD/IC delivery
- One+ cloud security certification
- 8570.01 IASAE Level III certification
- Active TS/SCI clearance (SSBI)
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ cloud security/technology certifications
- CCMD deployed environment experience
- Expertise in Zero Trust, CMMC, DEVSECOPS
