Join Leidos as a Document Management Systems Administrator

Leidos seeks a skilled Document Management Systems Administrator for our Digital Modernization Practice Area, supporting the Federal Civilian ESA V contract with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). This onsite role in Martinsburg, WV (a few days per week, must live within 50 miles) ensures seamless operation of scanning and imaging systems critical to law enforcement, weapons tracing, and compliance missions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Configure, operate, and maintain IBML high-speed document processing servers and imaging systems using ibmlCaptureSuite.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate scanner hardware, firmware, and software issues with vendors.
  • Monitor for ingestion errors, trace failures, and provide Tier 2/3 support.
  • Collaborate with federal stakeholders, IT teams, end-users, and vendors to optimize imaging workflows.
  • Deliver clear verbal/written communications and status updates across all levels.
  • Manage software upgrades, patches, and ensure efficient, secure operation of servers, networks, and storage.
  • Analyze performance for optimal uptime/throughput and integrate scanners with enterprise systems.
  • Write SOPs, technical docs, and training materials; support full lifecycle development.
  • Perform routine/emergency maintenance, including occasional weekends/after-hours, onsite/remote.
  • Ensure federal IT security and operational compliance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s + 2 years relevant experience (or equivalent).
  • Strong troubleshooting, Windows/Linux knowledge, intermediate SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server), basic XML.
  • Excellent communication, familiarity with document management.
  • US Citizen, Public Trust eligible, local to Martinsburg, WV.

Preferred Qualifications

  • DOJ/DOD clearance, ATF systems knowledge.
  • IBML CaptureSuite, OmniScan/Zeutschel, Amazon S3 experience.
