Modernize global-scale multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle) to enhance USAF system resiliency, security, and cost-effectiveness. This hybrid role near Hanscom AFB (Bedford, MA) combines team leadership with hands-on technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 7-10 engineers in delivering program requirements, including hiring, performance assessment, and training compliance.
- Architect secure, scalable VPC networks with Zero Trust principles and policy-based controls.
- Maintain DPaaS platforms, deploy tools like Cameo, DOORS, AFSIM, Atlassian Suite, Sparx EA, and MATLAB.
- Optimize performance, support RMF continuous monitoring, and conduct trade studies/systems analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and brief executive leadership on solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s +5 years or Master’s +3 years (experience may substitute).
- 2+ years team/project leadership.
- Interim Secret clearance (US citizenship required).
- CompTIA Security+ and cloud certification.
- Proven experience with listed digital tools and cloud SaaS.
Preferred Qualifications
- USAF Cloud One/Platform One experience.
- Multiple CSP certifications.

- Configure, maintain, and monitor DPaaS environments and shared VPCs
- Deploy, patch, and optimize digital software tools in cloud environments
- Provide customer support for infrastructure, tools, provisioning, and users
- Implement Zero Trust, network segmentation, and policy-based access controls
- Conduct systems analysis, trade studies, integration, testing, and QA
- Partner with stakeholders, present to executives, and mentor teams
