Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and design electrical systems for FAA facilities, including 120/208V and 480V distributions, UPS, and generators.
  • Perform site surveys, generate scaled designs, wiring diagrams, and cost estimates.
  • Lead project management: risk checklists, safety plans, work permits, and multi-project coordination.
  • Conduct testing, inspections (CAI/JAI), cutovers, and review contractor submittals.
  • Collaborate in meetings with stakeholders, ensuring NEC compliance and ORM standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or related) + 6 years experience; Master’s + 5 years.
  • Expertise in NEC, load calculations, and electrical systems for motors, pumps, and HVAC.

  • Design electrical systems for FAA buildings, including drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Conduct on-site surveys, load calculations, testing, and construction inspections
  • Manage multiple projects: scheduling, risk registers, safety plans, and cutover coordination
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders on pre-construction and site meetings
  • Review contractor submittals, perform internal design reviews, and ensure ORM compliance
