Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Analysis: Analyze, simulate, design, and test electronics for digital/analog circuitry, including custom signal processing, amplification, control, power management, and conversion.
  • Integration: Evaluate, select, specify, and integrate sensors, cables, connectors, power systems (batteries), and telemetry subsystems.
  • Documentation: Generate engineering drawings, review/create ECOs per ISO9001:2015, and document throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Testing: Develop test plans/procedures, execute lab/at-sea tests, troubleshoot circuits, and evaluate results to meet performance specs.
  • Collaboration: Work in a systems construct, providing expertise for design, development, integration, and production.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (4-8 years experience) or Master's (2+ years).
  • Altium Designer proficiency; CCA design (analog/digital/mixed-signal/high-voltage).
  • MATLAB, VISIO, LTSpice; electronic test equipment operation.
  • Microsoft Office/Project; Secret Clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • UUV electronics, underwater sensors/cables, power systems, optics.
  • Power topologies (Flyback, Buck, LLC); C/C++, VHDL/Verilog, Python.
  • Systems-of-systems approach; Linux/Windows test scripting.

  • Evaluate and integrate sensors, cables, connectors, batteries, and telemetry subsystems
  • Generate engineering drawings, ECOs, and support manufacturing per ISO9001:2015
  • Develop test plans/procedures for lab and at-sea testing; troubleshoot circuits
  • Contribute to design standards, policies, and product lifecycle documentation
