Join Leidos as an Electrical Engineer - Hypersonics in Huntsville, AL

Leidos is seeking a passionate Electrical Engineer to support the Strategic Programs office in developing cutting-edge hypersonic technologies. Make a real impact on DoD programs involving high-energy weapons, launchers, hypersonics, and target surrogates. Work in dynamic integration/production facilities and labs, with travel to Sandia National Labs as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle integrated testing for Hypersonic Glide Bodies (HGB), analyzing test requirements, methods, and parameters.
• Review test documentation, Technical Data Packages (TDP), and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams, hardware/software requirements, test procedures, and TDPs for customer delivery.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports, address quality issues, and verify requirements through V&V plans.
• Support production transitions and future test designs in a fast-paced defense environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be a US Citizen eligible for Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Matlab, TortoiseGit, NI Software.
• Expertise in test procedure development, post-data processing, and organizational skills for TDP documentation.
• Background in electronics, avionics, or environmental testing.
