Join Leidos' Defense Systems Manufacturing Team as an Electrical Engineer/Test Engineer (2nd Shift)
Leidos, a leader in defense innovation, seeks a skilled Electrical Engineer/Manufacturing Test Engineer for our National Space Systems Integration & Test team in Huntsville, AL. Work on cutting-edge spaceflight hardware, developing automated test scripts, and ensuring mission-critical quality on 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm, with initial 1st shift training).
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead test planning and execution using Solumina MES for development, qualification, and acceptance phases.
- Define manufacturing processes, procedures, and production flows for space product testing.
- Manage configuration changes, resolve material/schedule issues, and drive continuous improvements.
- Debug hardware/software, complete verification/validation reports, and minimize production risks.
- Coordinate across Engineering, QA, Operations, and Inventory for seamless workflows.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (2-4 years experience) or Master's (<2 years).
- Hands-on experience with electrical/electromechanical assembly, integration, and testing.
- 2nd shift availability; US Citizen for Secret clearance; Huntsville-area residency or relocation willingness.

- Resident of or willing to relocate to Huntsville/North Alabama area (experience)

Responsibilities
- Manage testing operations to meet project schedules using Solumina MES
- Generate and modify test routings, procedures, and automated scripts for spaceflight hardware
- Identify and execute continuous improvement and risk reduction in production testing
- Resolve production issues including configuration changes, material shortages, and schedule priorities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Inventory Control teams
- Complete requirements verification/validation documentation and debug hardware/software
