Work on cutting-edge projects for 'can't fail' missions in land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace. This weekend shift role (Friday-Sunday, 6am-6pm, 12-hour shifts) offers a chance to thrive in a collaborative, high-impact environment committed to innovation, sustainability, and community.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate EB welding equipment, set up CNC controls, and apply processes to metal components.
- Perform manual TIG welding on exotic metals per certifications and blueprints.
- Prepare surfaces, inspect welds visually and with precision tools for conformance.
- Follow routers, sketches, and safety standards while evaluating work for quality improvement.
- Collaborate on continuous improvements, waste reduction, and single-piece flow.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED + 2-4 years welding experience.
- Exotic Metals TIG certification; ability to pass weld test.
- US Citizen eligible for Secret Clearance.
- Weekend shift commitment; occasional overtime.
Preferred Qualifications
- GTAW experience.
- CNC-related skills.
