Leidos delivers innovative solutions for defense challenges through our Persistent Surveillance Portfolio. Join as an Electronic Warfare Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL, creating unique solutions for complex sensor and radar systems across the DoD ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and integrate advanced radar technologies into sensor programs.
  • Handle high-speed data acquisition, distribution, and real-time signal processing.
  • Develop modular software designs integrating COTS and custom tech into prototypes.
  • Conduct field testing of RF sensors and support CONUS/OCONUS deployments.

Gain exposure to diverse technologies and contribute to real-time prototype sensors while learning from seasoned engineers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (ABET-accredited) + 2-4 years experience; or Master’s with <2 years.
  • Expertise in modern C++, NVIDIA CUDA, Linux/shell scripting, object-oriented design, software patterns.
  • Apply skills to radar/EW, DSP, tracking, field testing.
  • U.S. citizenship + active Secret clearance.
  • Live in North Alabama or relocate to Huntsville area.
  • Strong teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MATLAB experience.
  • Signal processing fundamentals (sampling, Fourier analysis).
  • GIT, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines.
