Leidos delivers innovative defense solutions worldwide, and we're seeking skilled Electronics Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join our Huntsville, AL manufacturing team. Support critical missions by assembling electrical chassis, cables, printed circuit board assemblies, and electro-mechanical hardware for land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace applications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise with electro-mechanical tools including torque drivers, crimpers, and wire strippers.
- Execute precise assembly techniques to meet high-quality standards.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
- Partner with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
- Thrive in collaborative team settings, engaging with project and production teams.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED with 0-4 years of relevant experience (multiple levels available based on expertise).
- Strong knowledge of tools and equipment for electrical-mechanical assembly.
- Proven ability to read drawings and comply with instructions.
- U.S. Citizenship required; must be eligible for Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
- J-STD-001 certification.
