Leidos is seeking a dynamic Electronics Technician Trainer to serve as a C5ISR Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Instructor, training U.S. Navy Sailors in the operational employment and maintenance of the High Frequency Radio Group (HFRG) AN/URC-131(V). This full-time, mid-level role demands hands-on expertise in a fast-paced defense environment where innovation outpaces the status quo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert classroom instruction and scenario-based laboratory training on HFRG systems.
  • Develop and update curriculum to ensure alignment with evolving Navy requirements.
  • Document technical reviews with clear, concise correspondence and collate stakeholder comments.
  • Present complex information articulately in oral and written formats to diverse audiences.
  • Multi-task across dynamic programs, coordinating with engineering disciplines and Navy personnel.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum 7 years US Navy surface warfare experience on carriers, DDGs, CGs, LCS, or amphibious ships.
  • Electronics Technician “A” School prerequisite.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Strong understanding of Navy combat systems, weapon systems, and threats.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • B.S. or advanced degree in engineering/analysis.
  • Experience as Communications Area Supervisor, CSOOW, CSC, or NEC (V26B) technician.
  • Master Training Specialist or Afloat Training Specialist certification.
  • 2+ years with Microsoft Office Suite.
