Join Leidos’ Hawai‘i Energy Team as an Energy Advisor
Leidos is hiring an Energy Advisor in Honolulu, HI, to drive Hawaii’s clean energy goals through the Hawai‘i Energy program. For 15+ years, we’ve empowered families and businesses to save money, boost the economy, and reduce electricity demand, supporting the state’s 100% clean energy target by 2045. Named a Best Place to Work by Hawai‘i Business Magazine (2018-2023), Leidos administers this impactful program under contract with the Hawai‘i Public Utilities Commission.
Your Role in Accelerating Energy Efficiency
As an Energy Advisor, you’ll guide commercial customers to adopt energy-saving measures. Work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to overcome barriers and drive project implementation. Key responsibilities include advising on efficiency programs, conducting site visits and data analyses with engineering support, promoting incentives via outreach, delivering trainings, managing projects in Salesforce, and verifying installations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years experience (or equivalent)
- Energy industry knowledge
- Strong communication for technical presentations
- Proven relationship-building and client advocacy
- Multitasking self-starter with driver’s license
Preferred Skills
- Engineering/science degree
- Energy modeling experience
- CEM, LEED AP certifications
- Salesforce, Excel, data analytics proficiency
