Join Leidos' elite Towed System Intermediate Maintenance Activity (TS IMA) team in San Diego, CA, delivering critical support for US Navy submarines and surface ships. Core Responsibilities

  • Perform physical inspections, electrical testing, and troubleshooting of towed array modules.
  • Assemble arrays and execute pier-side shipboard installations/removals in all weather conditions.
  • Travel on short notice within CONUS and overseas for surge support.
  • Handle shipping/receiving, warehousing, government property admin, and asset tracking.
  • Operate forklifts, power tools, and conduct light mechanical maintenance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Technical institute graduate or military 'C' school electronics + 2 years test/repair experience.
  • Proficiency with electronic test equipment and handheld power tools.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance, valid driver's license, 40lb lift capacity.
  • Ability to pass background check and operate company vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • US Navy experience with towed sonar platforms (AN/BQQ-5/6, AN/BSY-1/2, SQQ-89).
  • Fiber Optic certification and Microsoft O365 familiarity.
