Support major electric utilities through engineering design, calculations, and field coordination in a hybrid environment. This role demands up to 75% travel for site inspections, storm duty, and construction support using your personal vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client scopes, create work orders in client WMS, and transfer designs to Leidos platform.
- Execute cost management and QAQC, including structural wood pole analysis, guying, conductor sags/tensions, voltage drop/flicker calculations.
- Perform root cause outage analysis and mitigation using engineering principles.
- Coordinate with permit agencies, right-of-way, system owners, and field teams to meet standards.
- Provide construction support, post-reviews, and ensure design quality/timeliness for Leidos clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Associates in engineering technology preferred) with 0-2 years experience.
- Basic engineering knowledge, safety focus, attention to detail.
- Valid US Driver’s License, MS Office proficiency, strong communication.
- Willingness for hybrid work, extensive travel, and field duties.
