Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a skilled Enterprise Voice Engineer II to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) at Ford Island, Hawaii. This critical role ensures secure, reliable, and uninterrupted DISA Voice Services on the Defense Information System Network (DISN), serving DoD and national security organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain complex IP voice/video infrastructure through sustainment, maintenance, problem, and change management.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper routing, switching, calling search spaces, route plans, partitions, lists, and device profiles.
  • Perform fault analysis on SIP signaling, remote site registration, media issues, voice subscribers, call handlers, and routing rules.
  • Support distributed firewalls, capacity planning, and technical policy development for enterprise IP telephony.
  • Analyze Cisco/Avaya/Oracle platforms including CUCM, Unity, CUBE, SBC, and Avaya Aura.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS + 2-4 years or MS + <2 years relevant experience.
  • Active Secret clearance and DoD 8750 IAT II (Security+ CE or equiv).
  • Expertise in SIP, fault analysis for voice networks, and Cisco/Avaya/Oracle platforms.

Preferred Skills

  • SRTP, G.711/G.729 codecs, DTMF; IPSec MPLS VPN; BGP; QoS; distributed firewalls.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering tasks to maintain large-scale IP voice and video communications infrastructure
  • Manage, configure, troubleshoot, and assure voice, video, and data network services
  • Configure calling search spaces, route plans, route partitions, route lists, and device profiles
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical problems using SIP signaling and call-flow knowledge
  • Support distributed firewall infrastructure and perform fault analysis on routing/switching
  • Validate change requests, conduct capacity planning, and document configuration changes
